We sell a lot of vintage pin ups from the WWII era as well and the 50s and 60s, nothing modern and all tasteful. We even sell a few sheets that are geared towards model builders. Iplayed football at Bluetanthal air base 1943 with the fighter group Caught the longest paas thron at least 50 yards running and jumping in the air to catch on adead run for the first touchdown at that time i was in the miltary police later transferd to fighter by Col. Reynolds base adjuant worked the gunner range off Wrightsville Beach 7 miles out the inland water way I shot at by a p 47 at the range almost killed me also Col Reynolds landed on the beach and gave me aride in the army piper cub

I was one of many that worked to restore "Memphis Belle" from Blytheville AFB in Arkansas in the 1980's. I didn't have the skills to replace aircraft systems - so I worked on the outer "skin" of the Belle. We each were given a Tee Shirt and a piece of the original plane - I still have my piece of her.

I was on the kitty from sept 66 to sept 69 as a second class ordanceman started on the flight deck and then went to bomb assb. Was great reading about my ship.....

Searching for info on William Buurman who was a gunner on a B52...that's all I know...Don't know where to start.

flight deck was filmed in 1964. I boarded the Roosevelt in Oct of 63 and I'm the guy on the LSO platform calling"all down, clear deck!" in the film. It was not called "A day on the flight deck.
