Many thanks to everyone visiting this website. Things haven`t been too great for me lately, my illness stopped my reunion with Mariano, I was just 2 weeks away from meeting him, it was impossible for me to make the journey to the Falklands/Malvinas and Argentina. I hope that as soon as I make a reasonable recovery that I can once again embark on this remarkable journey and you can all read about it here on Yellowairplane.com.

I'd like to contact Mr. John Bybee and ask him about Bob Brown and B-17 Pistol Packin' Mama. I might be related to this man. I grew up hearing stories about an "Uncle Bob" who earned a DFC flying that aircraft over Europe in WWII. I can be reached at the email address listed above. I look forward to hearing from John. Felicitaciones por tu proyecto de juntar a los ex combatientes Neil y Mariano, ojala puedas lograrlo!!. Solo soy un simple ciudadano argentino muy relacionado con los A-4B ya que naci a 5 km de la V Brigada Aerea,lei los libros del comodoro Carballo y siento mucha admiracion por El y por todos los combatientes. Ahora que conozco la pagina, la visitare seguido para mantenerme actualizado con el proyecto, mucha suerte y un saludo respetuoso.

Enjoy the sight. I am the son of a WWII pilot who flew cargo all over No. Africa and around The Middle East and Turkey. Sadly, dad died 6/25/08. During his last 1/2 year the altzhimers stole his short term memorys. The story from those WWII flights were perfectly clear. He would have loved this sight. THANX...'preciate it. DOUG
