Spent entire service time working on the B-47 and KC-97 at Pease AFB, Portsmouth NH. Loved the 47,Hated the greasy and oily 97.

SSgt. U.S. Air Force 27 Dec. 68 to 27 June 1977. I joyfully served in SAC as a Chief Clerk 5th AMMS, Minot AFB, ND and 379th AMMS, Wurtsmith AFB, MI. I was stationed at Ben Hoai, Vietnam 71-72. I remember not being able to sleed one night so I went out side to sit a while. Suddenly the whole western horizon looked like it was one fire (I'm talking about the sky). What an awsome sight. I learned later that it was a B-52 strike. I truely believe that those who never serve in the military miss out on a very important right of passage in the citizenship growth process. I have fond memories of my time in the Air Force.

Thank you for the information. I am
starting on my Pitts now. I will finish it
by next summer. Airpark Dallas Airport is
what my father started. I am very lucky to
have many experienced builders helping me.
