Hello shipmates! I served aboard USS Reeves from 87-89. Nice to know the Ironmen are still around eventhough the ship is gone. Thanks for the memories that will last a lifetime.

Hi shipmates. I served on the Reeves from October 1965 to July 1967. Had some great times with friends Bob Daley and Woody in Long Beach, Hawaii, Yokosuska, Subic and Hong Kong . Enjoyed being a member of the Tonkin Yacht Club doing SAR from 1966 to 1967. I was also the ship's barber, so if I screwed up your hair, sorry but the ship was going up and down and all over the place.
The Reeves gave me many wonderful memories and helped me become an Ironman. Best of luck to all who served on this great ship.

On board 1973 - 1975. FTM2. After the refit at Pearl we had to pull in to Subic to fix what the yard birds screwed up.
The good times out weighed the bad.
By the way, CGN25 was the last double ender.

Served forward engine room main control from 71 till 74. Mustered out at dry dock while we were staying in the Pearl Harbor Waves barracks in 74. My brother Steve who was an EM is still alive and kicking as well. Don't know about the reunion but it is good to look back on the good times occasionally. They weren't all good on the old lady, but it was a good time of life.
