Was highlined aboard 0n Aug 19th,1967. That was a
fun ride. Rode her back to bath,Maine. Went back to
the gunline aboard the Waddell DDG 24. Made it easy
to find the ship after a night in Olongapo! Got
disharged in San Diego in Aug. 1970. Was in OI div.

STG in AS Div 74-75, Westpac and Indian Ocean cruise. Great ship, great crew with lots of memories (dropping an ASROC off the launcher rail (almost a broken arrow!!!) Eating bag lunches while sitting on nukes...a whole month in the PI!!!!! and where oh were is STG1 Mike Hardy...any help would be appreciated... emthippi@cinci.rr.com. Fair winds always ...

Received the newsletter via E-mail. Great to read about the ship. Also, I rechecked my service records and found that I reported for duty on the REEVES in Sept '68 and stayed on board until decommissioning at Bath ME in April '69.
