What a time! 84-87 Till a high tension un-rep line snapped & almost took my foot. Excellent leadership under OS1/C M.Poreda. Every port of call was awesome! But I still hear those damn missile magazines rotating in my sleep! Ka-Chungggggg. And I still get a whiff of JP-5 from time to time. Ret. LCDR USN after getting commission ,nurse corps. Remember Ladislas, Sanchez, Shiflet, Crowley, and others. Strange, other ships web pages just don't get the admiration that Reeves dose. Best wishes to all IRONMEN and may she rest in peace.

Many thanks to Tom Bailey for the great article about the Reeves Iron Man tradition. As an original plank owner I was long gone before the Iron Man stuff started and I had never heard the story. Also, thanks to Mike Robertson for another great newsletter. See you guys in Charleston!
