In early 1946 left the East Coast for Le Havre, France on Liberty ship. From there a train to Kitzingen, Germany and later, on stationed in Schweinfurt in 14th Constabulary in M24 light tanks. Did early morning raids on towns in the early hours. A Sgt. Riley was our first Sgt. Spent a year in Germany and enjoyed it all. Saw the Nazi bigwigs in Nuremberg on trial one whole day. Would enjoy hearing from anyone in Lt. Tank Troop, 14th Constab. William Jackson

Hi Irene,
On your recommendation, I would like to remind our fellow Troopers of the upcoming OP8 Reunion to be held in this Seattle area on May 5-8,of this year. Our Reunion Committee is working hard to make this a very memorable reunion with many events planned plus additional tours they may do on their own before and after the reunion dates. We have negotiated with the hotel for the same rate 3 days prior to and after the reunion dates, for those attendees who have never been up here in the "Great Northwest" and wish to extend their stay. For more information on our OP8 Reunion contact Don Purrington or myself.
