Perhaps somebody can help me with my list and remembers names and units. I´m about to complete a list with all units serving from 1946 to 1950 in the barraks Rothwesten (district Kassel). Such as the US-Constabulary, 601st Tactical Control Squadron, 601st Aircraft Control, 501 TCG, .. The period of poor information is the year 1948. Which units where at tRothwesten in 1948? To which unit did these mentioned troopers belong to: Lt. Col. Emery D. Stoker, 1st Lt. Edward A. Tenenbaum, Major/ or Lt. Col. Johnson. They seemed to be in charge of currency reform 1948, which took place under command of (US-Constabulary???) in the barraks (right at the end of the base in a block with a barbed wire fence). They lived outside of the base with their families in the near by dependent area. ## The currency reform 1948 was developed in the base Rothwesten, a top secret project, closely guarded by US-Army Unit. The last refinement were decided in the spring 1948 under strictest secrecy in the buildings of the US-Army barracks to Rothwesten (district Kassel). # Thanks. Thomas OP 1

Looking for anyone who may have been in th 15th Constabulary Squadron in the fall of 1952 and may remember the last ride of the 15th along the border. Lt. Col. Robert Rigg was in command at the time. The vehicles were still painted with the Constabulary colors and his vehicle was carrying the U.S. and Squadron Colors. I later met Maj Gen Rigg in Vietnan 1963 he was then J2 CINCPAC.

1946-1948 Bamberg and Coburg Germany. 1947 we moved to Coburg. It was a old German Panzer Unit. Served under Capt Oren Wingfied. Played football and ran track on Reg. team. Made numerous patrols on Chez border. About three days out of Bremerhaven the Berlin block started, the scuttle butt on the ship we turning around. It did'nt happen. I will say that being a Trooper was a great experience and I will never forget those days. I also remember the 100 mile march we made.
