good to see lovely webside. Spring is coming slowly, we had terrible cold weather. Many C-troopers must remember it, as they where in Rothwesten or Wasserkuppe between 1946 and 1949. Your mum had hard times in 1943 to 45 in Kassel, as the river froze totally.

Thanks for this wonderful website. It brought back a lot of memories. My father, then-S/SGT. Mario Casale from Follansbee, WV served with the 81st in Fulda from 1946-48. His friend Phil Consalvo of Follansbee also served with the 81st and later became my godfather when I was born in 1949. If anyone else out there remembers my father, I would love hear from you. God bless all of you and thank you for your heroic service to this Country.

Served in con stab Hq Co, in Heidelberg 47 to 49 moved to patch Br. in 49 served their untill june 1950 was in 3rd Army in1945 and remained in Heidelberg untill Constab moved from Bamberg an3 Army returned to the states . I then becamb a member of the Constab.Trooper Murphy
