I joined the 6th Cavalry Group in July 1945. We duties in Berlin until November 1945. We then were in Erlangen until Spring of 1946 when we moved to Coburg Germany. We remained there and finally were designated the 6th Constabulary Regiment. I was still in the 6th Squadron. I left for the States in June 1948. My lovely wife, Gerry, was with me there for the last 14 months. My experience with our Association has been great. I am no longer very active these days. My last experience was as National Adjutant.
