Received an e-mail from our OP8 Commander Don Purrington, notifying myself and other members of OP8 on the recent passing of our fellow Trooper and former Commander of our OP8, Gene Snowden, on September 23. Gene had been in ill health this past year. At our OP8 reunion last year(2007), in Reno he was taken to the hospital there complaining of breathing problems, yet returned to the reunion with the help of an oxygen apparatus. He didn't want to miss anything. Gene was always our reunion coordinator and very active in our Association. He was also a charter member in the forming of our Constabulary Association. His wife Wanda was also very active in helping with our reunions. He will be
sorely missed.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Wanda and the Snowden Family. Condolences can be sent to the Snowden Family at PO Box 1134, Westwood,CA 96137-1134.

Dennis Kirstein is in charge of the newly Rothwesten Kaserne Museum near Kassel, Germany. Most all of the old barracks are being torn down and in its place standing now, is a Museum to acknowledge the United States Army and US Constabulary Elite Force that was stationed there following WWII. If you have copies of documents, any information and, or pictures of yourself or the Kaserne following the war, or any thing at all that you wish to share, send them to Dennis for the US Room in this Museum.............. To contact Dennis Kirstein RE: Museum Rothwesten] Email: Dennis.Kirstein2@eu.dodea.edu

I am the Web Editor of the US Constabulary, Irene Moore and I posted this information to help Dennis Kirstein get as much information as we can help him get for the US Constabulary history. The German people WANTS to ACKNOWLEDGE and SHOW APPRICATION, let us help give something to remember the US Constabulary in Rothwesten, Germany. Thank you.
