I learned I am doing the right thing with my ms.toad in our egrees window.Now a new baby. but I can't find the mother. Do you think she is still there and ok? Its about 4ft. deep so she can't climb out.thank you.

Great site! We have 5 toads, ranging in size from as small as a quarter to as large as a softball. We just love them. I'm so glad I read on this sight about the skin shedding process and how they eat it. I witnessed it first hand the other day on my biggest toad, and it would have worried me if I wouldn't have read about it! They make wonderful, charming pets and they each have unique personalities. My 4 year old daughter adores them. Thanks!

I'm back! My toads name is Buddy, and every morning and every evening my dad and I catch flies with a fish net to feed to Buddy. He about the size of a quarter, and I have him in a 10 gallon tanks with water and land. The water is really gross, and I've only had Buddy for a day or two. There are little skins laying around; do toads shed? I'm sort of worried about him because he just sits there, do you think he gets bored?
