i have been following this tragic story for the past year, and im very dissapointed nothing new has been found.i have come to the conclusion that he planned his dissapearence. its the only logical solution.i just pray his family has some peace and finds the truth.

Randy: My heart goes out to you, to your son Derek and to Alexis. I have posted several times on that blog that you just mentioned on your last post and I check up on Brian's case two-three times/week. I graduated from OSU and have been to Ugly Tuna. The entire situation is mind-boggling and unbelievable that this could happen. I pray that your son is found very soon-I can't even begin to imagine your pain, I say a prayer for all of you every Sunday at church-Just know that people will continue to follow this, support you and pray for Brian, I truly hope you find out what happened to Brian very soon.

Updates - Just to let everyone know, I was just sent an e-mail that let me know that there is a bog site that has been keeping track of everything that has happened right up to September. It is beyondfrazzled.blopgspot.com/2006/04where-is-brian-shaffer.htm. I havae looked at it some and it is very good. Please check it out. Also, the Texas Equu Search Team is supposed to be coming back the first week in November but I don't have a definite from that yet. I have sent several voice messages to Tim Miller with Equu Search, but hae not heard back from him yet. This is the best I can do for updates for now.
