The first time i ever heard about this story was right before i was going to New York for spring break. I'm a student attending Morton West High School in Berwyn Illinois. My choir class was taking a trip to New York and the day before we were to leave i was watching a doucumentary on spring break nightmares on the E channel. The segment that they did on Brian brought attention to me. I told almost everybody about Brian.My boyfriend thought i was crazy because i was so much into the story. I kept thinking how could this happen to somebody? I really convinced myself that i should't go on the trip b/c i was afraid of this happening to me or my loved ones. My prayers go out to you and don't give up. I believe that one day fate will step in and he'll come back home to all of you. Please take care and just remember to keep breathing.

Has there been any news in finding Brian Shaffer? I saw the story on THS and was baffled. He is exactly like myself, my boyfriend my brother etc. It really scares me.

I too have been troubled by Brian's disappearance after seeing his story on E! two weeks ago. For some reason I think about it every day. I don't know if it will help, but I have sent an email to everyone in my address book, with pictures of Brian and a link to your website, in hopes that the email will get circulated around the world and Brian will be found. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

i am a student at ohio state and remember hearing about brian's story last april...a year later and i recently went into a store that just opened and saw a "MISSING" flyer with brian's face on it. i stopped to look at it and just shook my head in disbelief that a year later and no sign...2 days later i saw the story on the E-channel and was again in disbelief at this mysterious disappearance. like everyone else, this story has stuck w/ me & you are all in my thoughts & prayers more than you know!!

wow... saw this on THS E!. I am so involved in missing persons, Brian's story has never crossed my desk. I hope the family can find other media ways to get his name and face out there. I assume that one of the "needles in the haystack" for the family is potential of amnesia. Has anyone sought shelters local and afar? My love and prayers to your family. Just saw Brian's story on THS. I kept hoping for a happy ending. My heart and prayers go out to Brian's family and friends. Hopefully getting his story out there will bring in some leads as to where he is and what happened that fateful night. God bless.
