I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THIS STORY FROM THE BEGINNING. MY DAUGHTER, HOLLY IS VERY GOOD FRIENDS WITH BRIAN'S BROTHER & HIS GIRLFRIEND; DEREK & MAURIN. AS IT TURNS OUT I WORKED WITH BRIAN'S MOM, RENEE AT MT. CARMEL EAST SEVERAL YEARS AGO. WE WERE BOTH REGISTERED NURSES IN CRITICAL CARE. SHE WAS AN AWESOME NURSE & PERSON. I WAS QUITE DISTRESSED TO HEAR OF HER ILLNESS & DEATH. TO HAVE BRIAN'S DISAPPEARANCE ADD TO THIS WONDERFUL FAMILY'S GRIEF IS JUST NOT RIGHT. IF THERE IS ANYONE, ANYWHERE THAT KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT BRIAN, PLEASE*PLEASE*PLEASE CALL TO REPORT IT. I KNOW HIS MOM, RENEE IS WATCHING OVER HIM AND WANTS HIM TO COME HOME TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

This new site is just absolutly beautiful. When I first heard this story, I wouldnt have imagined that the search for Brian would go on this long. My thoughts and Prayers are with the whole family. He is out there and we will not stop looking.

I am an Ohio State alum and lived in Columbus for almost 9 years. I saw the Dateline episode as well and was saddened to hear of Brian's disapperance. I have been following his story ever since, and just wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you daily. I hope and pray that he comes home soon.

I saw Brian's story on Dateline a couple weeks ago and I've been following it since then; I pray for his safe return, my heart goes out to his family... Alexis, you are a very beautiful, strong girl, and for what I read, it seems like you and Brian are very close and very in love, I can only imagine how difficult this is for you; you are in my prayers, stay strong...

My brother, also an OSU student went missing for just about a week in May of this year(undoubtedly seen on the news in most of southern Ohio). This is where I first heard of Brian's disappearance and where I met Randy. We went through everything to try and find him and when we did, we were so glad and relieved. However, Brian is still missing. He was my classmate at Pickerington High in 1997. Although I did not know him well, I knew him well enough to know that everything that Randy and Alexis has said about him, represent him exactly as I remember: a great man. I pledged that I will do whatever I can to aid Randy in his search to bring Brian home. This is not an obligation, it is an honor that I can do my part (however insignificant it may seem). Post a flyer, donate monaterily, give words of encouragement and hope, anything no matter how little to show you care, helps. I should know. Honor is the foundation on which our family was raised, and I have extended my hand to the Shaffer's. Please do the same. Let's bring him home. Also, (message to the web designer whom out of respect I will leave anonymous) the website is excellent. Please let me know if anything is found out about Brian. I know Randy is very, very thankful for your support.
