I have posted Brian's picture on some online sites I am a part of, and I ahve been praying for Brian and the rest of the Shaffer family. I am so sorry that the last year has been so incredibly hard. I feel horrible that I didn't even know that Renee had been so sick and died. I moved to Iowa City from Columbus in July and continue to tell everyone I meet about Brian. We all continue to share the story and say prayers.

I am Mom to 3 grown girls and have a grandson and a granddaughter. I am a R.N , who works Critical Care so I kn ow the stress of your Med School along with the horrible stress of losing his mother.. . Have watched this site from the beginning and finally had to say how many times I have prayed and if wishing could bring him home, he'd be with his family.
