I have been coming back to the website in hopes of new news. I always cry when I see no new news and can only imagine the families desperation and agony. I wonder about his girlfriend Alexis, and what has become of her? I travel alot anf I find myself looking and serching for Brian alot. In hopes that maybe he has had a long term memory loss and is around not knowing who he is. I wonder sometimes if maybe he is in another country somewhere not knowing who he is. I pray that Brian is found or some answers on his dissaperance. I am a mother, a grandmother and an educator. Sometimes when my 20 year old goes out I fear for her, things are so bad out there. I pray she returns home and when I hear her car I say thank you father for I have her back one more time. Brian Shaffer please come home.

I recently watched the story of Brian's disapearence on a TV show about the wild and tragic side of what happens on spring breaks in the US. I was deeply sadden by his story and the love between his family and the love of his life that will never be the same. I cannot imagine losing someone that you love so deeply and now just vanished without any answers or trail... My deepest sympathy to the family and friends and prayers on finding Brian and bringing him back to loved ones.

I watched with sadness the THS Investigates story on Brian. It was mentioned,(very briefly) that Brian was last seen at/around the Band. (they indicated they did not remember him), I am a DJ for Parties and Clubs, (well over 25 years now) and I remember everyone who approaches me...Good or Bad, (It is impossible for the Band not to remember something about him...impossible).Also, HOW did the Band get their equipment out of the building?????????????????????? Perhaps Brian offered to help, or went with them to continue the party. One other point if he mentioned to ANYONE he was going to propose to his girlfriend they may have thought he had the Ring with him...or near by. Also this case needs to go to VICAP. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

I just finished watching the doc on E about Brian. I am very sorry for what your family is going through. I am 21 and have been going on spring break vac since I was 18, it's scary to see what can happen it's even scarier to see something like this happen to a guy but regardless it shouldnt be happening. I know how it feels to lose someone but dont ever give up hope, hope is the one thing that is going to get you through this god bless you all!
