Why will his friend not take a polygraph test? I would be looking into that. You would think he would be willing to do anything to help find his friend. My thoughts are with both Randy and Alexis in their search...my eyes are always open.
Best to you both,
Nikki

This is to the family of Brian. My deepest sympathies are with you all now. To Alexis, I definitely know what it is like to lose a person you love deeply. My best friend was killed in front of me in May and I loved him very much. I know it is different because I have closure. The difference also being that my friend is definitely never coming back. At least you have a chance at being reunited with Brian. I will keep you all in my prayers. One more thing. Alexis never doubt that he loved you. That's what kept me going. Knowing that my friend loved me as much as I loved him.

I've been following Brian's disappearance since day 1. It is such a tragedy...I can't even start saying how this has touched me. My heart goes out to his family and girlfriend whom has given her all in helping find Brian. My prayers are with you.

About a week after Brians disappearance I was at Ohio State visiting my son. I saw Brians posters all over High Street and my heart was broken for all his family. I pray for Brian every day and keep updated for news about Brian every day. For his friends and family, stay strong and keep Brians story out there.

Everyday I will say a rosary for Brian's safe return to his family. My thoughts as a parent are with the Shaffers. It would be wonderful to find out who the two girls are in the surveillance camera to get details about what was said, or where he intended to go after the conversation. Maybe he suffered a dissociative fugue brought on by the stress of his mother's recent death. A case in Los Angeles led a student to this path, where he located in Mexico taken in by a family then safely returned home. I will pray he is coming home.

I know OSU / Columbus quite well, having spent time at the veterinary medical school with my horses. We always stay at the Holiday Inn on Lane Avenue. My teen-aged girls and I enjoyed the campus so much. It makes me so angry that your Brian could vanish from such a pleasant and seemingly safe area. My prayers and thoughts are with you, Brian's family and friends. I pray for his safe return and a wonderful future for Brian and Alexis. We all need to know what happened here so we can prevent it from ever happening to anyone else in America! God Bless You and give you peace. Julie.
