I have known about Brian Shaffer being missing for some time now.. I have never met this guy before and i still continue to think about him everytime i am downtown Columbus. I dont know why i would think of him unless there is some hope hes alive. I do think we need to still continue to look. maybe in the scioto river, umm HIGH AND LOW! in the ugly tuna.. Something had to happen in the ugly tuna for them not to be able to find him leaving. He does say on his myspace he likes road trips... Maybe since his mother has passed he couldnt take it and just started running away... idk but i really am sorry for Brians family and girlfriend! i dont know how you guys can do it.. Unfortunately, the upcoming search for Brian that was scheduled for Saturday, December 8, 2007 has been cancelled. This was necessary due to unforeseen illness of a Texas EquuSearch member and scheduling conflicts. Please continue to keep Brian and his family in your prayers.

I heard of your website from the True Hollywood Stories of Spring Break on E!. Since I saw the story on T.V. until now which is about 2 hours later I can't seem to stop crying. I realize that I don't know Brian, but somehow I have this feeling that he is just going to come home and when that happens I will drive the 5 hours to Columbus from Detroit and give his father and girlfriend the biggest and tightest hugs I can so that they know that it was them who kept his memory alive. Reading about you guys are what makes me feel like life is worth living and to cherish everyone everyday I can. I will regularly check your sites for updates and will help if I can. I just saw Brian's story on THS Investigates yesterday and can't stop thinking about it. I can't imagine what you are all going through. As I've been reading about this today and I noticed that on Brian's myspace page someone logged in on 9/27/07. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am currently engaged and if I lost the person I love more than anything, I do not know what I would do with myself. I pray that you stay strong and never lose your faith. I wanted to suggest that perhaps you should create a facebook group for David. I do not know the exact number, but there are MANY facebook members, and his picture, along with any information you want to supply, would reach many people. Love and prayers for you all...
