Hello and thank you for all that you do during the rally. Most of the officers are polite and understanding,but a couple of the young ones are absoutley rude and want to show their authority. I did not get the mans badge # but he will remember the discussion with Ed and I at the Fire Fighter memorial bike on main St. the last Saturday of the Rally. He was rude and miss quoted the law then when I explained it to him his reply was I am not going to argue and turned and walked away. He was to young to have such as bad attitude. hopefully some of the decent officers can bring him around. He left a real bad taste in my mouth for Sturgis 2004 hope 2005 is better

I was in your city during Sturgis Rally Week, for the first time, with other law enforcement friends from Dallas. Had a great time, with exception of losing a gold necklace and diamond cross worth about $3000. - C.J. Melin

I want to commend the men and women of Law Enforcement who dedicated their time and vacation to ensure the rest of us who visited Sturgis this year during the Rally were safe and sound. The professionalism of the crew working the streets and in the vehicles were first rate. The courtesy and friendliness shown, during a very trying time was second to none. I thank all of you who worked, so I didn't have to. As a retired LEO and now a Safey & Health Specialist I understand the job that you all did and the amount of logistics to ensure that it was accomplished was immense.
