I just read the article in the newspaper about this website & I think its great! I also had such fun at the reunion a few years ago, meeting up with old classmates & the nuns. This website will be a good way to keep in touch with some old friends & great memories.

Memories - Sister Margarita getting beaned in the head with a baseball - Ouch! Having to copy out for Sister Carmen in foutrh grade 1000 time, "I will not waste time in school." Getting caught smoking by Sister Vivian in 7th grade. Marchinng to church in 1963 to pray when JFK was shot. Thanks for the site John with all the photos and memories.

Thanks so much for putting this site together John. It was great to take a walk down memory lane. I have so many good memories of Saint Anthony School.One of the best memories was of the baseball teams with Sister Catherine Laboure as our coach and greatest fan. She was a great teacher and one of the nicest persons you ever want to know. I was in the 1st graduating class of 1956.

It was just heaven sent to find your website on St. Anthony's School and the wonderful Mercy order. I have been searching through the web for years in my search to find Mercy sisters photographs for a personal project I am doing here in Ireland on the order,having lived all of my 55 years next to a Mercy school, St. Mary's.The traditional habit of the Mercy nun, which is very much portrayed on your website, was unique and special and it clearly reflected the nuns commitment to God and the Church.
I would sincerly welcome any old pictures of the order if any of your web callers have them.
