hello my name is andrew, i have a problem with my corn snake it is 5 years old and it recently laid around about 30 eggs. I seperated them from the mother the day after they were laid and i put them in a container with vermiculite and i mist them every 3 days any ways my corn snake known as striker, she managed to open the container which had the eggs inside and i had noticed that some eggs were missing when i took her out of the container and obviously i knew she ate them and its been about 3 days since then and im worried because i contacted a so called snake professional and he said its not a problem the eggs will pass through easily with in about 3 more days but to make sure i like to get more than one opinion on this situation and i phoned some one else and they gave me totally different info on this matter and now im even more worried because striker the corn snake seems to be having trouble to pass the eggs and there showing so much that i can actually count all the eggs which she has eaten just by looking at her and there is in total 5. I just wanted to know could you help me on this? any info you have on this will be a really, really big help and if you dont know much about this subject could you please forward me to a person which i could contact by e-mail or phone please. thank you for any help you can give me and for reading my plee for help. i have just had my first corn snake i am 14 and it is now a good time to have one while i sometimes get bored and stop in this is a great site and it has helped me alot these past few days since i had it on 10th april on tuesday. but at the moment i am trying get out of my fear from handling it because when i come to handle it, it scares me just incase he bites me, but people keep telling me it wont hurt if he does lol and it is rare for him to bite anyway he is last years snake from the shop he is about 6 months old and really nice,if you could just send me some advice through email about how i could handle him the best way and to try not be scared i would be very happy thanks alot great site my email is corey-hansford@hotmail.com thanks alot
