Excellentsite lots of info and pics. I've loved snakes for years and finally brought my husband round to the thought of keeping one last year, he went out and bought me one for my 36th!birthday He's fully grown about 5'5 beautiful orange and brown colouring, but unfortunately not too sure on the age, I think he's getting on a bit. His temperment is excellent and he loves stretching out in the living room. We have recently aquired 4 more corns from someone who was moving house and couldnt take them with him.(why move)! These are, we think 2 male 2 female, are about 3-4 yrs old and currently between 2'5 and 4ft. The 2 females are cream and orange and one (ginger) has just laid 7 eggs which we have incubated but dont look brilliant. It looks as though cleopatra (named so because of her pre-shed milky colouring when we got her and the crown band on her head)is now about to lay.The male (Fred)is a randy so in so he likes his ladies and follows them everywhere. We have 2 hide boxes in their viv and if they're not all coiled together then he's usually got his head in 1 with 1 of the females and his tail in the other with the 2nd female! The 2nd male that we aquired is larger so we've put him in with our 1st corn (Sampson, named so as hes rather large and loved lifting the lid off of our 1st viv) The 2nd male is named Delilah! we thought he was a she, apt partner for Sampson we cant think of another name yet or at least one that sticks we keep refering to him as delilah. All corns whatever sex are quite happy with the living arrangements and are very comical at times. I've three kids as well and they love them all bit worried first week or so but now totally hooked! I even had to take them 2 of them to my daughters infant school and show them in front of 60 kids as they were learning about legless creatures! Have now got a few of them very interested, better than those fluffy pets! Best go now before u all doze off, be back at some point with pics and news about eggs. Bye

i couldnt keep away from your webpage. phoneix pierce brosan hasnt shed yet and im patiently waiting (not) i personally think that he is actually to lazy to get up and begin the process, he instead prefers to watch me if im in the room, he has a lot of character but i have had him for a long time now but what concerns me is that he hasnt eaten anything in around 5weeks. he has been checked out by a vet who says he is in perfect health (wehey for me) but wont accept anything to eat, do you know why this is? he was in a tank with 3 other considerable large snakes and didnt like it at all and was very shy and withdrawn when i got him so i dont think that being on his own is the problem. could you help out?

Hi. I started liking corn snakes when I first had Mr. Beckelhimer, my high school biology teacher. He has a bunch of corns and I help take care of them sometimes. I'm thinking about buying one.

man i just want to say that your website is amazing. my own corn snake (called phoneix pierce brosan) is soon to shed for the first time in my care, which should be a excellent experience after seeing yhour photos. i myself think that snakes are the most beauitful placid reptiles you can get, even thought there are loads who would disagree with me, but phoneix pierce brosan has changed quite a few minds with his charm haha. anyway cool site and i will be back to check it out soon!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
