Janet Hoskins Palatino born Feb.12,1948. She was taken from this earth Dec.13,1990. Jan left behind her husband and high school sweetheart Tom and two loving children Roy and Tonya. Her faith in God was evident to anyone who knew her.She was a good friend who
is greatly missed.

So many Classmates are Gone But Not Forgotten. I think if you ever knew the Spann Twin's you would never forget them. Daryl and Jay Spann we unique and special people.They played jokes on teachers in school by switching classes. Much to the delight of those of us who knew about the switch which most often they got away with.Having known them since Kindergarten I know they were well known in the Hayward area not just the classmates at THS but around town. All the girls described them as " Cute" and they sometimes played the tricks on the girls too. The twins were always fun to be around. It is with heavy heart I attempt share the memories of these two. Jay died in Viet Nam Nov.26, 1971. Daryl died Feb. 17,1980. Both of their lives were much to short. They will never be forgotten.

Jim Fries (61) was a neighbor, just 3 blocks from me. he was a very warm and caring person.
I remember Judy (Andrade) Burgess fondly. even though she was one year under me at T.H.S.(62), we had a blast double dating with our boyfriends, Bruce & Bernie Newell. Judy was a great friend who always said what was on her mind!
And My sister-in-law for a short while
Carol (Sanders) Newell,(63) who had a hard life , but also had a BIG heart!
May they rest in peace.
