Dear Bob In reference to our telephone conversation on 1-26-10 concerning Anthony Joesph Andenno. If possible he would like a picture of the WW2 Memorial in Saratoga and a closeup of his name. "doc" Andenno landed at Anzio and Operation Dragoon, the landing in Southern France. He also also fought in Germany. He talks of Saratoga a lot and likes anything from there. I took some pictures last summer but didn't know that he wanted pictures of the WW2 memorial. He lived in the Algonquin as a boy and talks about painting the fence around the race track and hawking newspapers in the hotels. After the war he managed to get through med school and became a dr. He has practiced in the small toun of Belding,Mi. for about 50 yrs. He worked until he was 82. He is currently 85. He has been a member of the American Legion for several yrs.40-50? I am 26 yr. member. Both he and I will be extremely grateful if you can send the pictures, Thank you Chuck Vineyard

I give every person who tries to help and shows up for meetings a lot of credit. If more people could take a few hours a month doing things to improve the club instead of bashing the people who do try, our club would be in great shape. At the end of the day IT IS A CLUB everything comes down to a vote as a member you support the vote.

Its very disappointing to see the way Post 70 members are becoming discouraged with the way this post is being ran. The officers should spend more time serving their members rather than there own self interest.
