You said it like it is. I believe every word you wrote. Keep up the good work. Someday the right person will read it.
Take care, Sandy

just read "The Encounter" and was impressed, I agree with the observations re the modern day church, I would like to add that most churches also control the members time to the point we CANNOT "be still and know that HE is God Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. I believe that most of America's love for God has waxed cold due to the activities of religion and tele-evangelism. I feel we must be real in our personal walk with God, not to just impress the people around us, for Jesus even spoke out against the Pharisees in His time who prayed before others or gave contributions to be seen by others to be highly praised or thought of.
Good work Randy and thanks to Jim for sharing this.

That was a beautiful poem as is all of them you write. With your poems and faith in God you have made many friends. I know if everone who meets with and talks to you will love you like we do. Keep those poems going and May God Bless you and keep you in good health.

Cheers to webmaster, but I would prefer dark blue color theme... it's not that I have any relations with gays (nor do I disapprove of them), just like the color. And yeah, recently I discovered a nice little trick of preventing almost all kinds of spam, and that's a double requirement for verification, the second comes after the post is submitted... well it's up to you whether to immlement it or not. Good luck to y'all! Sincerely yours, Paula from Luxembourg.

As usual, we are so greatful for you, your writings, and your friendship. Please know that we have been touched so often by your poems, and since I think I have a little insight about this poem, I still want you to know you are not a failure to us, and most of all to HIM, and He's the ONE that counts.

I just read "Failure", I do not think your life is a failure, for I have never met someone as wise and hilarious in my life, we all have something to give this world and you have a talent of writing you give which most of the world wished they possessed

Not ever meeting your mother I can just tell by your words what a wonderful lady she is. You and your brothers are so BLESSED to have her with you so long. I hope she lives many more years and you can enjoy her more. Happy Birthday Mrs. Brandes, you have raised a wonderful family.

Jim, My thanks again and again for all you do. As You know there is nothing more precious than a grandchild, and of course mine are so special to me. Most especially I thank you for your prayers, and then the writing so graciously given to you. Thank you for being willing to be the scribe He needs to encourage us as we travel along. You are indeed my Bubba.

Miss Abby , what joy to meet you, and now to read your poem for your great-grandmother. How pleased she will be when she receives it. We hope you will be back soon to enjoy our Ozark Hills. JoAnn and Al
