Peirsol has an attitude problem with Freudian Projection Syndrome --------------------------------------------------- Projection is an externalisation of internal unconscious wishes, desires or emotions on to other people. In this particular case, Peirsol externalized his unpleasant feeling of being a real cheater and wish/desire to hide it on to a chosen victim - Kitajima. Then Peirsol wrongly blamed Kitajima for having used illegal kicks, the thought that Peirsol really has.

Let me just say congratualtions on winning that gold medal. Man Aaron really kicked it! It really is a great inspiration for America that we are doing so well in the Olympics.
