I use Covino painting medium and my teacher tells me that the Covino medium can be used in place of varnish. She also says that the Covino medium can be applied to the finished painting as soon as the paint is dry - not the usual 6 months to a year of curing but when the paint is dry to the touch. Do you agree with my teacher's statements that the medium can be used as a varish and can be used so soon? My teacher is a Covino workshop attendee and knows a thing or two about the product. Don't know if you remember me or not, Frank, but I have taken a number of your workshops and was your Raleigh Coordinator when the classes were at Meredith College. Anyway, I am back in Raleigh and have signed up for your July workshop. I have been teaching your method for several years at beach and currently teach it for Wake Community College,here in Raleigh (evening continuing Ed. classes - non-credit.) I am so very excited about studying with you again this summer and honing my skills. Hope all is well with you.
