LOVE your site.. A former Rhode Islander living in Florida for the past 18 years - Man.. you have brought back so many good memories. I printed out every page and will copy them for the Rhode Island Club of the Treasure Coast. I started this club 11 years ago for all of us lost RI souls down here. Been in AZ for a little over a year now, the thing I miss the most about RI besides my family is the food. You mention a hot weiner out here and they kinda look at ya funny. Well on my last trip to RI the 2 things I was missing most at the time was the ocean, cause I live in a friggen desert, and weiners. So first thing I do after I drop my stuff off is go get some gagga's, it's about 2am, always the best time to eat um, drive down to Narragansett beach and jump right in, I was in friggen heaven. Got the weiner sauce mix, just tried it tonight, the sauce is spot on, I had to use oscar meyer weiners, they're not as good as the real thing but close enough for now. I really enjoy this site I've put it on my favorites now, brings back a lot of memories and the recipes are great. Now if only the housing prices would drop so I could come home, but hey, whatta ya gonna do? Dave

Stumbled on the site while looking for a place to buy some Del's! Just 3 days into the summer and already missing it! My wife (from Chepachet)and I (from Foster)moved from RI 15 years ago, and miss it every summer (Del's season) and everytime we see something about it. We do get to go back there every one in a while to visit family but we never seem to have enough time to hit "all" the places we would like! Thanks for the laughs and trip down memory lane!
