Loved it! I rememba Olneyville hot weiners from when I was about 6, so impressed with the guys loading his whole arm up with weiners. Thats when I got hooked. Been in Florida about 14 years now , sure miss RI. I was from Foster and loved snow storms during my school years. Two things I didn't see mentioned here that I really miss is Sunbeam english muffins,ya know , the ones you actually have to cut, not the 'fork split' kind. Also hotdog buns made for toasting. Florida has never heard of eitha. Ice coffee I think is a RI favorite too. Anyone remember Mammoth Mart in Johnston, next to Almacs. These were the closest stores if you lived in Foster and yet seemed so far away when I was young. Miss flannel shirts, sledding on hill in front of state police in Scituate, Roger Williams park and all time favorite Rocky Point. Thanks for the memories.
