Love the site! I was born in RI, but have lived in Maine most of my life. Reading the site over was enlightening. Perhaps it explains why I love coffee milk, put vinegar on my fries, why I buy ice coffee in the winter,& can NEVER get enough clam cakes! Wasn't there a big amusement park in Lincoln? I have vivid memories of riding a big roller coaster when I was about 7 yrs old. Recognize the Cranston accent. The site brings back childhood memories for me and I'm really thrilled with the recipes! Thank you!

I've been out of R.I. for 26 years now. And this site brings back such great memories. For the person that sid Jolly Charlies. If no mistaken that was in North attleboro Mass. Close to woonsocket though.. :) Great site

What a trip down memory lane! I really enjoyed the site. Wondering if anyone has photo's of Jolly Charlies. Also would love to see photo's of the old Kelley's in Olneyville, my grandfather used to manage it but I was very young and really don't remember it.

Oh my Gaaawwwddd!! What a Great Site! I read all the things other people wrote and the last one made me cry. Everything they say is true. If you're not from there people say we talk funny and have attitudes! Fuggeddabout the food!! I am in florida , Italian bread??? they dont have a clue, Cold pizza strips... why??? Clam cakes? oh you mean fritters?? AGRGGGHHH!!! Yes, I have a bottle of coffee syrup in my fridge, yes I have hot dog buns in my freezer, oh yaah we cant get those either. just the rolls you cant toast on each side!! I am only so happy for Chourico!! I would give my left eye for a GAGGA!!!! Thanks for the sauce cant wait for it to come in! Just a fish and chip on Friday?? geez....and not from Long John Silvers!! Thank you so much for this site! I knew I wasnt the only one who thought this way, I just had to find a RI'er to validate it!!
