There is no charge for buyers to attend the car boot and there are no plans to implement a charge. We prefer to accept voluntary donations at the gate on the way out.

I sincerly hope you don't introduce an entry charge, I'm sure it will severely affect the numbers who come. The "loose change" collections on leaving are a much better way to collect additional monies. No doubt this is a way of making up for last seasons dismal number of boots sales due to the weather and subsequent drop in funds raised.

I think before you start thinking about gate charges, you should at least bother to make people aware of cancelled dates. We checked your dates on carbootsrus.com which stated you would be open last week. We wasted £8 on a taxi to come and look around only to find it was cancelled. Not so much as a polite notice on the gates to let people know. We had 2 upset kids left with nothing to do all morning thanks to the fact that nobody could be bothered to announce the cancellation.
Charge what you want at the gates, i won't be planning another trip there.

I no longer go to nico carboots after banning dogs, my dog was always kept on a short lead under control and i always picked up his mess, i now give me custom elsewhere that allow dogs, the staff would rather see the dog in the car then walking round under control and i was told to do this earlier this yr,

What happened to the Christmas carboot sales, when i was younger we always looked forward to the carboots before christmas when they used to be indoor and outdoor. I think these should be done again it would make some more money for the school as alot of people look forward to the nico car boots

It's good to that you have finally done something about dogs, I'm a PE teacher in Coventry and despise dogs being allowed on what is actually my classroom. I doubt that dog owners would have a problem with them not being allowed in an english classrooms.

It's a shame dogs (under control) are no longer to be allowed on the site. I accept that there are some unscrupulous dog owners out there but its once more a case of "a few spoiling it for everyone". We've always been accompanied by our very well behaved lab. and now she's going to miss out on her Sunday visits!
