Glad to see Mighty Diamonds still
shining, I had the opportunity to
produce them on a British TV show
'Here and Now', in 1986...they sang 2
songs "Shame and Pride" and "I
Need a Roof". I also spent a day
photographing them (the photo can
be seen on
www.digitalhandsworth.org.uk). What
a great experience to be in the
prescence of such humble brothers.
Good luck Mighty Diamonds.!

I just wanted to let you guys know that I am thankful for all the beautiful melodys that has become of this long journey that you "The Mighty Diamonds" has traveled and that I enjoy everything and every moment that your songs are being played. I've just had my 21st birthday on the the 27th of May and right now I've been listening to your guyses music for 9 years now, ever since I was 13 hanging out at the beach surfing this deep blue ocean. Just to mention a little something I wanted to let you guys know that theres much love from the people of Hawaii and especially the Hilo crowd and that I hope some day you guys can make your way to Hilo, Hawaii where your music will live forever with the much Hawaiians who love the roots reggae that you guys play. My pops saw "The Mighty Diamonds" front row at the "The Bushnell" in Hartford CT in ?1977? opening up for Bob. He described it as unforgettable. I can only imagine. He has passed on the love for Reggae to myself and my brother which we will do some day to the next generation. Long live the music. Peace and Love. JS
