Hi Diane. We used to work in M System Grocery together. I worked lanes with you and we got in trouble one night for cart racing. Mike was one of the "cheerleaders". We ran the carts into the cookie house after closing. Those times were alot of fun.
One of our mutual friends told me you'd started a site for Mikey. He hated that so I'm calling him Mikey because I can. He was a nice boy and it was a tragedy when he went missing. I'm praying for his friends and family. "Stace"

I remember Mike from school. I left for boot camp in February of 1986 and this is the first I heard of this happening. My condolences and prayers for Mike's family. -- James

Diane, I didn't know Mike at all obviously. But listening to you speak about him so passionately over the phone makes me wonder if he knew what kind of amazing people he was surrounded by. Even though his life didn't turn out as long and as happily as I'm sure everyone hoped. I have to agree with a previous poster. I didn't know it but I think I would have liked him. If he had friends around him that are still searching two decades later than he sounds like a young man that was worth knowing to me. When I was listening to you talk about him the other night I was almost a little jealous that I didn't get the chance. Great job on the website. Keep up the good work.

I am so glad to see this site....God has his angels on a mission, Diane you are definetly one of them! I continue to hope and pray that someone will come forward, no matter how insignificant they may think their information might be...anything could possibly help find Mike...he's not just a face on a poster, he's a son, a grandson, a brother and a true friend to so many....

It's good to see a site pop up on Mr. Adams. I too have followed his story and search for new information on him often. I was searching today, after a long hiatus, and came across this site. I have posted some of his story on some missing persons and true crime messages boards from time to time and even communicated with some people who knew him at various points. Ultimately I didn't get far so I hope this site works for him.
Have you thought about posting his NCIC number? It might be important since someone might have something on him outside of his home state, especially if there's a chance he is alive and living elsewhere.
I'm going to send along my e-mail to you in the hopes that you'll keep me updated should you find anything.
Good luck. He sounds like he was a nice kid and I think I would have liked him if I had known him.

I've been following Mike's story for a long time. I'm glad he has his own space now. His family is probably still heartbroken all these years later to lose an their 18 year old son without a trace. My heart goes out to them and to Mike Adams.
