As mentioned on the main page of maxandmike.com we have a new project in the works and we would love for everyone who has been a part of the show and this website to be a part of the new project as well. We will be launching it in the next couple of months, and if you would like to hear more about it when that time comes just submit your email address in the email box that you'll see on www.maxandmike.com below my "message." Thanks for your interest after all these years and I look forward to what's coming up in the very near future!

There is a copy of Desert Song on E-bay, but it's not cheap. Still, if it's for mom...

I wondered what other people thought of Apatow's (sp) latest offering, "Funny People." I did read Max Weiss' review on the main page and it looks pretty funny, I loved "The Forty Year Old Virgin" and "Superbad?" I have a juvenile sense of humor, so what... stick with what works I say. I hope these numbers are correct for posting my drivel, I couldn't read a telephone number today because of inferior ink in the phone book and did not make the connection to the caller intended. I soon reaslized I just didn't press enough numbers. And how was your day?

Meg -- Yes, "Shadow of a Doubt" is with Joseph Cotten. To me, it's the "lost" Hitchcock masterpiece. Everyone remembers the great '50s movies and "Psycho" but "Shadow" somehow is overlooked.

Thanks for the list Mike. "Shadow of a Doubt" was very good, was that with Joesph Cotten? I loved "Play Misty for Me" too. I remember seeing it in the drive-in with my parents. Lots of good scares but the most memorable one for me was when the maid thought she heard something in the closet and opened closet door to find Clint's biggest fan with a huge butcher knife--that was scary!! I still use that line on occasion, when I call a friend who works in radio--it goes dead silent for a couple of seconds, LOL!!! We both bust out laughing. Meg

Mike, would you please post the "25 Most Over-Looked Films." It's really difficult to see the numbers and post--need glasses, can't afford them.
Loved Woody Allen's"Manhattan Murder Mystery." Any help is appreciated. Meg
