Served with the 22nd SPS K-9 along with Sentry Dog Fritz X704 jul.67-mar.68.Fritz and I were sent Ubon AB thailand to start up the first sentry dog section for the 8th SPS to protect the men and planes of the 8TH TFW home of the wolfpack.Fritz served his country with honor and distinction and was turned over to the Thai Air force in Sep.74. RIP Fritz till we meet again faithful companion

I returned from England 1960 finishing 3 year tour at Chicksands RAF as Radio Intecept Op. Cross-trained as Relay Center Spec 33rd ComRon and worked at that until my last year there (1962) when I worked as the Squadron Illustrator/Draftsman. Many of you there then might remember some work I might have done for you, such as a desk name plate. Worked and lived on the hill and had a great time (CA is my home state). Some of you might remember my 39 Merc Coupe, or my 49 Ford Coupe, both works in progress. Now live close to Beale AFB, retired and teaching computer courses part-time.

I note that your C-123 was based in Georgia about the time that I made five jumps from them at Ft Benning, Ga. This was Aug of 1959. Would be quite a coincidence wouldn't it. cheers, vel hawes
