Served at March A.F.B. from 1963-1967. Was in the 22nd O.M.S., was in the B-52 and the KC-135 recovery teams. Crewed on a KC-135, #007, dragin wagon. A lot of good times spent on top the 22nd O.M.S. barracks roof.

I served at March AFB from 1976-1979 as a Crew Chief on B-52D S/N 56-670. I was on the flight line the mourning the B-52 crashed on the south end of the runway, what a terrible day that was.I remember pulling alot of alert duty and what good duty that was. I recognized a couple of names from the guestbook like John Gaddy and Jim Nunley. Anyway great site and God bless America. SAC Trained Killer John M. Henry

I'm sure many of you remember the local Top-Bottom Cafe. Do you know of any other local cafe's with the simulator, or are they all gone?

I believe the A-1E you just recieved is actually an EA-1E, or earlier, an AD5W, the carrier airborne early warning version of the A-1. I noted markings indicating the squadron was VAW 11, making it almost a certainty it was an EA-1E. If this is correct it is highly likely I have flown in this specific aircraft as an airborne air controller, Naval Flight officer. Is it possible to learn more of the history of this plane?
