I think what you guys did for Lori was very cool. I don't think our native military people get enough attention in this war. Me personally am against the war. I don't think they should've fought over there. I know it is there duty to protect their family and country and to ensure freedom but i don't think so many lives should have been sacrificed for so small a job.

My sympathy to Lori's family and friends. I can't imagine how much this hurts. I do appreciate the sacrifice Lori and others have made for our country. I was teaching in Kuwait during 9/11 and when the war started and saw so many brave men and women who came to the middle east to serve. I also spent ten wonderful years teaching at Jeddito School near Keams Canyon. I got to know a lot of Hopi students and parents. I'm so glad the picture of Lori for this site is one where she is laughing. That's how I think of my Hopi friends - always ready to share the joy of laughter.
