As a woman in the military myself, as well a fellow quartermaster, I feel a deep admiration and fellowship with the fallen soldier. And I am proud to honor her memorial in this way. May the Great Spirit look over all those in combat.

I am attending the University of Colorado at Boulder on an Air Force ROTC scholarship. After I graduate, I will also be in the United States Military just as Loriann was. My thoughts and prayers go out to those who were closest to her, and those who continue to risk their lives for our country.
