Our eyes were glued to the news as the days passed by once the war began and after the news of these young men and women's capture came across. As relieved as we were with the rescue of Jessica we were saddened by the news that came across of the loss of Lori and the other POW's. She must have been a special young woman, so far from home to serve her country, our country in a land so far away. Many thoughts and prayers have been with all of you and continue. Being a part of a military family we can somewhat relate to the concern of all men and women who serve us everyday. But an extra special thought for Lori. God Bless all of you.

LORI is the prefect example of how strong, brave and honorable all native women and men can be if we all set our minds to it. May God Bless Her Family, especially her children and may they grow to realize just how special their mother is, was and always will be. Although, her family will never forget her and they will always miss her, I pray that their pain and sorrow will ease with time.

May God bless this ladies family as they raise her children. I pray for God to give them grace, knowledge and lots of understanding as they grow up without their Mother and that their eyes and ears and especially their heart would be open to God as He bathes all of them with love.

She sure is a hero! Its too bad that she had to go down fighting for our country when we as Natives are still fighting for our own freedom in this world. She was a very brave woman!
