Being a part of the military family I have seen many lives taken. It is especially sad when it is the life of a young warrior. Now two little ones are left behind but will know one day how their mother died an American Hero fighting for the land she loved. May Peace come to us soon and heal the wounds of all those left behind.

As a public affairs officer for the Army Reserve I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the family. She will always be remembered not only as a great soldier, but as a great mom. Her memory will always be kept alive and remain with her children. We are very proud of her. She gave the ultimate sacrifice for her country. May she be at peace.
