Beautiful tribute to a wonderful young lady that put her life on the line to save so many others. As an American Indian, but also proud American, I want to thank Lori and the other military personnel who were in Iraq fighting to keep me and my family safe. My heart and prayers go out to the family. I have followed Lori's story ever since I saw her picture in the Indian Country Today Newspaper. When I first heard of an Indian woman killed, I had a feeling it was Lori, for some reason I don't know why. I had hoped it would not be true for the sake of her children and prayed it was not her. I will continue to pray for Lori and the Indian people and others serving in the war. I too have lost dear love ones, I know they are in a better place and at peace, as Lori is. Thank you.
