I'm a military brat, born and bread. My father brought us into this country when I was one, and his family still serves our nation! He told us the story of how we came to be US citizens, what his father had to endure when Hitler was in power. He imparted the importance of choices, and taught us to value freedom, to appreciate the sacrifices of all those men and women who fought to keep it alive so that we may choose, who, what, how we become. When I hear about the lives of those BRAVE MEN & WOMEN who fought and still fight to keep it alive, it makes me proud to be an American! I proudly hold my head up high, and with honor and dignity say "I belong to a wonderful nation that allows us the choices to choose our own destiny and we're not beaten or silence when we do"! So to the family of Private First Class Lori Ann Piestewa I say it's been an honor to read her story, and my condolences to her family for their sacrifice. May the Great Spirit watch over her and may the wind always blow under her wings.

This was a beautiful presentation and tribute to a wonderful American Soldier. Our family is sorry for her families loss but we are also very grateful for the remarkable, wonderful men and women fighting to help make America and the whole world safe. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
