When we look up at the sky and see the star people I see the spirits of our ancestors that have been fighting for freedom since Columbus landed. We have fought for Turtle Island then and now to preserve this land that is sacred. Lori gave the ultimate sacrifice for her people and this nation. All Natives and non-Natives are proud of her heroism. May she still walk in beauty and strength in the spirit world among us.

I just want to say 'THANK YOU' to Lori and the countless others who have given the ultimate sacrifice for my freedom. We live in a great & wonderful land and have the greatest freedom of all times, but it has not come without a price.
From my Native American ancestors, my 4th Great-grandfather who fought in the Amer. Rev. and my Uncle who was MIA in WWII has come this freedom. To all of those who have helped, served and paid the price - I say again 'THANK YOU'
Lori - we'll always remember you and your great sacrifice. May your children grow to become the wonderful person that you were and that will continue to make me proud to be an 'AMERICAN' and all that it stands for.

My thanks to Lori Ann for her willingness to serve this country, HER country. My thanks to the Hopi nation for its sacrifices and its dedication to this country, ITS country. My condolences to her family for her loss. May God bless you all abundantly, and may he ease your pain, suffering and sense of loss. Lori Ann IS in a better place. People like her are chosen to be. May her children never forget the sacrifice their mother made for them, for her family extended and for freedom. I know they won't. Her story will live on forever, as will her spirit. May this country never forget Lori Ann as well. We owe it to her NOT to forget her sacrifice. Thank you for allowing me to pay my respects.
