I am so proud of Lori Anne for serving our country, not only as a woman but as a Native American woman. Her honor and courage for our great country will never be forgotten. I am an Arizona native and half Apache, so I was especially touched by her story. Her children will grow up proud, for their mother gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country--she gave of herself.
I will call Lori "Akicita Winyan," for she was a great warrior.
