I'm an ex Retired Soldier 22 yrs EX Green Beret. I was sadden to hear about Lori. I met this young lady a couple of days before she went to the recruiting office. My heart and my spirit bleeds with grief. She was a great soldier/Warrior!!!!

I am very sorry for the loss of Lori! I have been touched by her story as I served at Fort Bliss from 1992-2000. During that time, I belonged to 2-7 ADA, which is now 5-52 ADA. The 507th Maintenance was our maintenance company. I cannot imagine your loss, but I pray that your hope and faith will live on in the eyes of her children. I too have two young children and I can't imagine the pain of leaving them behind for an extended period of time. She sacraficed much for her country and her family. Someday, I would hope that her children can understand that we sisters-in-arms view their mother as a hero.
