My blessings and heart sincerely go out to Lori and her family. Lori sacrificed her entire life for what she believed in and may Tunkasila bless her soul for that. Lori is a strong warrior and she will always be my hero. I am a Native American Sioux Indian woman from the Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation and i also served in Desert Storm and Lori will always be in my heart and soul. Being a Lakota woman veteran I feel sad in my heart for Lori but I know now that she is with Tunkasila and she is safe now. Mitakuye Oyasin, LeeAnn Standing Elk

I hope that Lori's children grow up to be proud of their mother's accomplishments and sacrifice for them, as well as all Americans. The world is a better place because of people like Lori. I am very sorry for the loss of Lori- to her children and all those who loved her.

Our great nation owes a continuing debt of recognition to the native americans that have fought bravely and fearlessly over the years for the USA. This tribute to a Native American female Warrior is but a small reflection on the honor and bravery of her people and all the Americans placing themselves in harms way to protect our freedoms and way of life. With great respect, PWR2
