There is a Canadian female soldier serving with the Canadian Military on an exchange with the British Forces in Iraq, she was able to contact her mother in the last several days and she is doing well under the circumstances.
The hope of the world is that these conflicts do not continue, our best chance at peace is as a result of those brave souls who gave themselves to the cause of peace.
