When I lived in Flagstaff 1975-86, I often had occasion to go out to Hopi Land.
Such wonderful, courteous, friendly people. All they ask is that you respect their cultural traditions while on their land.
I was privileged one year to receive an invitation to view the sacred Hopi Snake Dance. What a beautiful, spiritual, almost mystical ceremony. I'll never forget having been so honored by the Hopi.
