Mark, thanks again for coming to our rescue on 5 minutes notice to house our family and our horses after the disaster down the street. The cabin was perfect, your horse-spitality, and especially your assistance with our personal problems saved our vacation. I have just spent a thoroughly enjoyable several days at True West. The facilities are very clean and well-maintained. The trails are wonderful. The people who run it are extremely friendly and helpful. I don't think I could ever do what they do - deal with the public as courteously as they do. I even witnessed them having to deal some women who were renting their cabin who were, quite frankly, some of the rudest people I had ever seen. They remained calm though. I'll definitely be back.

10/15/07 Just spent 9 days and can't wait until next year to go back. The campgrounds are so CLEAN, has very large lots for those big rigs with (12' slideouts). The barns are very large with great stalls, places at each stall for your saddle & bridle so you can saddle up right there!!! Mark is very personal and makes sure you have what you need. (He even got worried when our group of six was not back in after"Dark", he kept checking to made sure we were back. Mark is also an awesome banjo player so be sure to have him play for you. I just can't say enough on how well we really enjoyed our stay. Lots to see on the trails, didn't get it all done so we are planing for next year to ride in South Fork and True West is where we will stay for sure. Nina

We had a great time camping at True West. It was a very clean and peaceful campground. Plus, easy access to riding in South Fork, which was absolutely beautiful!! We were there for 10 days and our rides were typically 8-10 hours... we just didn't want to quit. We also enjoyed having the "little midget" in our group join in with Mark's banjo pick'n, Ron's fiddl'n, and Sue's bass. Overall, good time and we are checking our calendars to figure out when we can make reservations to come back.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME AT TRUE WEST AND AFTER GOING TO COLORADO IN 06 I FELT THAT I WOULD NOT SEE ANYWHERE AS BEAUTIFUL, BUT SOUTH FORKS IS RIGHT IN THERE WITH IT. TRUE WEST IS AWESOME MARK THANKS FOR THE BANJO PICKING. SEE YOU ON THE SHORT TRAIL. THE KINGS

We have just returned home from our wonderful 18 day stay there at True West Campground. Our first stay was the best of the best. Mark and Sue you were perfect hosts and made us feel right at home. We were so excited and pleased when we arrived after our long drive to find clean and bedded stalls where we could immediately unload our horses. Your campground and stall areas are very well groomed and yeah, a level camp site with full hook-up. We loved having a place in the tack room and/or outside our stalls for keeping our tack, feed, and hay close at hand. We enjoyed the easy access to the trail heads, just across the street and were so pleased the trails are well marked. Too many absolutely gorgeous trails and so little time time to ride them all. For anyone interested, we also found grocery shopping, restaurants and a washateria in both surrounding towns. Also, if you forget anything like we did, True West's store and tack shop had just what we needed, plus many wonderful extras. Mark and Sue finally, we want to say again, how very much we enjoyed our stay and our rides with you guys. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. We'll for sure come again.
