I grew up going to the Hayward Rodeo in the late 50's tru the mid 60s sitting in one of the Center Box Seats Front Ror in the old East Stands. My parents, Bud and Bonnie Goppert, knew the Rowell's and I remember the great Sundays spent there when Hwy 50 was 2 lanes in either direction.

Great historical rodeo site. What a family history that you have. Just a note: I did a google and yahoo search on Steve Hindi - there is lots of information about his criminal activities.. Surely is not what one would call a upstanding citizen.

Great website. The Rowell Family made a great contribution to the Sport of Rodeo. Enjoyed reading all the history. And, it looks like the Animal Rights "Moonbats" really like this website also... They have spent a great deal of time signing the guestbook and harassing this website. Another thing I noticed - these animal rights moonbats have an unhealthly obession with pornography. Obviously they all need to find a couch and a shrink.

Boy you really ticked off the Animal Rights Terrorists...All their postings on your guestbook were quite juvenile and they are really a sick group of individuals. I doubt very much that any one of them has done anything for animals. Keep up the great work - these nutballs need to be put in their place - which is the local pyscho ward.
